— Artistry with Intention | Christina SIDERIS
Christina Sideris is a Toronto-based artist whose work spans photography, illuminated installations, and architectural integration. With over a decade of experience as a creative director, her practice has evolved from photographic exploration into the creation of immersive visual environments that combine imagery, light, and spatial design.
Drawing inspiration from both urban and natural landscapes, Sideris’ work examines the contrasts and harmonies between organic forms and constructed spaces. Her signature visual language is developed through layered photographic compositions that are later translated into illuminated installations through her studio Artistry by Design.
Her work has been presented in exhibitions and design contexts including NeoCon Chicago, ICFF New York, IDS Toronto, and the Art Gallery of Ontario, among others. These presentations reflect the growing intersection between contemporary art, design, and experiential architectural environments.
Christina Sideris is a conceptual artist, master photographer, and creative director working at the intersection of art, light, and architecture. Her practice explores how photographic imagery can evolve beyond traditional presentation to become immersive visual environments that shape the emotional experience of space.
Through layered photography and illuminated installations, Sideris transforms imagery into atmospheric compositions that interact with architectural environments. Her work investigates the relationship between the natural world and the built landscape, revealing the subtle dialogue between structure, texture, light, and perception.
Sideris is the founder and creative director of Artistry by Design, a studio dedicated to the development of illuminated architectural artworks. Through the studio, her conceptual works are translated into integrated installations designed for residential, hospitality, corporate, and cultural environments.
Today, Sideris continues to develop illuminated artworks and spatial installations that expand the role of photography within the built environment, collaborating with collectors, architects, designers, and developers to create environments where art and light converge as architectural infrastructure.
